I’m Jaimee.

I’m a trauma informed Yoga and Somatics facilitator and Mental Health Peer Worker.

In addition to my Peer Work qualifications, I have over 400 hours of training in Yoga for Trauma, Anxiety, Depression and Body Image, Trauma Informed Applied Somatics, Advanced Teaching and Sequencing Methodology, Yin Yoga and Myofascial Release.

I share practices and ideas through a systems lens that allows us to incorporate ancient wisdom in our recovery while acknowledging the very real difficulties and complexities of modern life.

I hold the fundamental belief that you are your own best teacher, and I hope to support you in the discovery of this innate knowing within.

All of my work is informed by my own lived experience with mental health challenges. I deeply value the hard-won insight that comes from such challenges, and I will walk alongside you and your wisdom towards greater wellbeing.

Yoga and its teachings were instrumental in my own recovery, and I now teach the practices and ideas that continue to support and hold me through the inevitable oscillation that is our experience of being human.

I am committed to the continued effort required to dismantle dynamics of power in my practice, promote agency and bodily autonomy and to honor your individual perspective on health and recovery.
